Deep Chocolate Pie
This recipe is easy to make, tastes absolutely amazing and
comes from Jackie the pudding queen at Wild Ginger. You should be able
to get Gelozone and vegan digestive biscuits at your local wholefood
shop.
Ingredients

For the base
- 9oz vegan digestive biscuits (crushed)
- 5oz melted vegan margarine (melted) /
- For the filling
- 1 level tsp of Gelozone (mixed with half a pint of water)
- 7oz plain chocolate
- 1 tbsp of golden syrup
- 8oz pack of tofu
Method
- Mix the crushed biscuits with the melted margarine and put into a greased cake tin (preferably with a removable bottom, or else line the base with greaseproof paper) and pat down firmly.
- Melt the chocolate and mix with the golden syrup and tofu
- Make up the Gelozone mix and blend with the chocolate mixture
- Pour onto the biscuit base
- Chill for 2 hours. Decorate with orange peel and serve with thick slices of orange. Delicious!
