Savoury pasties

Ingredients

  • Pastry made with half brown and half white flour, or puff pastry
  • 1lb mushrooms
  • 1 packet smoked tofu
  • 1/2 block of Redwood melting cheezly
  • salt & pepper

Method

  • Sauté the mushrooms in margarine until soft, add salt & pepper
  • Grate the tofu and the cheese, and mix with the mushrooms
  • Roll the pastry out and cut into large rounds
  • Fill pastry with the mixture and make into pasties, cook in a very hot oven until pastry is cooked and golden.
  • Good served hot or cold.
