Thinking about changing your diet?
Amanda tells her story about why and how she became vegetarian...

I became a vegetarian by marriage. The man I fell in love with was and still is a strict vegetarian and so were all of his family. I knew that he would not marry me unless I gave up meat, so I did.

I wasn't a big meat eater anyway, unlike members of my family, so it has never really bothered me.

I eat all the fake products ie Linda MaCartney pies, Tesco's own veggie sausages, Quorn burgers and I cook with tofu a lot.

Ten years on our daughters are very healthy veggies, and walk past a butchers window shouting " Yuk, dead animals, that's disgusting".

I think they'll turn out like their Auntie Sue and Grandma Gaby, don't you.

Enjoy being a veggie. xx

PS I live in Scotland and have thoroughly enjoyed the veggie haggis, give it a go!!
