Thinking about changing your diet?
Neil tells his story about why and how he became vegetarian...

Well it was a very long time ago back in 1988 when I was young. I had to go into Brighton Eye hospital for an operation on a detatched retina. While I was there (for about a week) I decided that I didn't want to eat meat any more, something I had been thinking about doing for some time. The awful food they served up was the final straw in my decision to become veggie and I've never looked back since. I had to eat mainly salads while I was in the hospital as they didn't have much of a choice back in those days. By the way, my operation was succesful so despite the traumatic stay (not just the food, but I won't go into details now!)things turned out all right in the end.
