Organic Burst
Baobab super food
We felt that a breath of fresh air was needed in the nutrition world. We have launched a new ethical UK brand of organic superfood supplements Organic Burst (http://www.organicburst.com). It was born from our need for a nutrition boost while working in the City. We got tired of the long list of chemicals and fillers that you normally find in food supplements so we made our products 100% organic , pure and nutrient-dense. We only source from organic suppliers that engage in development of local communities across the world.
We are super excited to introduce a unique superfood Baobab fruit powder from Africa. Baobab is known as the Tree of Life and cherished by people all over Africa for its healing and nutrition qualities. Its fruit looks like a big velvety-green coconut. Inside is the powder that has a tangy taste of a caramel pear with a hint of grapefruit. It can be enjoyed daily by mixing with water and lemon, juice or smoothies.
Organic Burst Baobab revitalises and supports nervous and immune system. It is a wondrous source of important nutrients: it has double the amount of Vitamin C than oranges, 5 times the amount of potassium than bananas and double the amount of iron than spinach. On top of that it contains all essential amino acids and twice the antioxidants than pomegranate. (See http://www.organicburst.com/baobab/ for nutritional analysis).
Back in Africa sales of baobab powder help employ thousands of poor workers. As the baobab trade is picking up many of them were now able buy their first homes and send their children to school. Baobab trade also prevents deforestation as locals stop cutting down baobabs for wood. We work with PhytoTrade Africa - non-profit trade association that aims to raise living standards in Africa .
Organic Burst is launching with two products and our range is expanding with three more this summer. We are EU Organic Certified by the Soil Association.
I know loys of you enjoyed the samples at our last meeting, so If you would like to buy Organic Burst, it is availble to buy on line and if you use this special promotional code "ILOVEVEGAN", it gives 20% off any purchase.

Stall at Avenue Primary School Fair
We nearly sold out of everything and had very good feedback from vegans who weren't expecting food there and also from veggies and non veggies, who took lots of leaflets and recipes. I made some charts up of egg replacers you can use in baking with recipes printed on the other side, I thought this would be good, as people always ask how you make cakes etc without eggs.
We made £50 for the Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital, and that was just what I made and sold, we could raise a lot more with more people : )
