We are a local group which is affiliated to The Vegetarian Society
UK.
and the Vegan
Society. The group was first formed in 2001 for vegetarians and
vegans to meet other like minded people and we're a friendly and
informal group.
We meet on the first Thursday of each month at the
Friends Meeting House, Queen's Road, Leicester, at
7:30pm.
We invite speakers, exchange ideas, recipes and
help to promote cruelty free living within the Leicestershire
area. View our 2008 Calendar
We also have a Diners Club, eating out once a month at a chosen restaurant - a wonderful social night out and also promoting local eating places to cater for veggies! All are welcome though it is usually necessary to book ahead.
LVV is run completely by volunteers and is and are always in need of people to help keep the group running. Please visit our Getting Active page for more details
